Development and producing (at low cost) of durable concrete blocks from alu sludge and R&D for bamboo fibres in blocks
Green Blocks is a Spin-Off Entity from a R&D Project of the Dutch Government in Accra, Ghana that recycles aluminium sludge from the Weija Water Treatment Plant into local building blocks. Benefits: reducing waste and reducing building costs for locals to build safe concrete houses. The concept is proven and ready for production in our new factory R&D is necessary to investigate if bamboo fibres can be used to strengthen the concrete blocks and reduce weight and building costs even more.
